What is Hip Hope?

    Hip Hope exist to help young people bring worship back to God. Young people are essential to what God wants to do in this last days-Acts 2:16-17. According UNFPA "More than 1.5 billion people are between the ages of 10 and 25. This largest-ever generation of adolescents is approaching adulthood in a world their elders could not have imagined." As this generation matures they are  sharing ideas, music, values and symbols through media and technology, a Global Youth Culture is Forged. In order to reach this Global Youth Culture, we must look to redeem this culture through Christ. Young people respond only to the things they deem relevant. "Hip" represents trendy, in-style, cool or relevant.     "Hope"represents Christ Jesus.

Jesus is our hope-1Tim. 1:1, 1Peter 1:3. A lot of young people believe Christ is not relevant to their lives today, but it is important for them know that He is never "out of Style". "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever"-Hebrew  13:8. Jesus is relevant to youths today and they are to bring worship to HIM.

Practical Application of Hip Hope


    It is a youth rally where we invite youth to come and show their talents. The youth that sign up to perform often bring their friends to watch and support them. The participating youth groups also help publicize the event. We also showcase a few other Christians acts as well (such as up coming Christian artists, church performing arts ministries, etc.).Then we preach the gospel to them at the end of the rally. We plug in the youth from the outreach into local partnering churches for spiritual growth and mentorship (we also believe that personal and corporate prayer culture in the churches is necessary to create and sustain revival in the communities and in the individual lives) . 

During the outreach/rally: 
-Talent show case 
-Relevant Christian Artist performing 
-Preaching of the gospel by a young speaker
(not necessarily professional minister)
