Meaning of Hip Hope
Many over the years have ask the one million dollar question- what is Hip Hope? Hip Hope ultimately exist to help young people bring worship back to God. Young people are essential to what God wants to do in this last days-Acts 2:16-17. According UNFPA "More than 1.5 billion people are between the ages of 10 and 25. This largest-ever generation of adolescents are approaching adulthood in a world their elders could not have imagined." As this generation matures they are sharing ideas, music, values and symbols through media and technology, a Global Youth Culture is Forged. In order to reach this Global Youth Culture, we must look to redeem this culture through Christ. Young people respond only to the things they deem relevant. Hip:-represents trendy, in-style, cool or relevant. Hope:-represents Christ Jesus. Jesus is our hope-1 Tim. 1:1, 1 Peter 1:3. A lot of young people believe Christ is not relevant to their lives today, but it is important for them know that He is never "out of Style". "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever"-Hebrew 13:8. Jesus is relevant to youths today and they are to bring worship to HIM.

HISTORY
Founders, Seyi and Ronke Olagunju, are missionaries with Nation Worship Ministries and they also formerly served as campus pastors in southern California. More than a decade ago, while in Northern California, the Lord put a heavy burden to reach unsaved young people by helping them discover that they have been created to worship God with their talents. Out of this burden God gave them a strategy to use a unique type of evangelistic rally to reach young people. God also gave them a diverse team of people from many ministries and churches to carry out this vision. In 2005, the first hip hope outreach took place in Antioch, CA USA in partnership with the help of some local churches. They saw many salvation's and transformations among the youth that attended. Now, since that humble start the Lord as also given them the grace to partner with ministries in Europe and Africa. Hip Hope International is a subsidiary of Nations Worship Ministries , which is affiliated with many other ministries. Over the years, Hip Hope International have continued to partner with many civic and christian organizations all around the world.
