FAITH & JUSTICE: 7 DAYS OF TRANSFORMATION

Day 1: Repentance:
We are asking the Lord to forgive us of our sins against him and against others in our families, communities and country. Its time to turn away(repent) from our idols(anything/anyone that we have placed above the Lord) and focus on Christ. -2 Chronicles 7:14
Day 2: Humility:
We are asking the Lord to give us the spirit of humility even when we are pressed to be arrogant (prideful) in our families, communities and country. We need to humble ourselves before the Lord. When we are humble then the Lord elevates us.-1 Peter 5:5, Psalms 25:9
Day 3: Reconciliation:
We are asking the Lord infuse us with the spirit of reconciliation. We need to be reconciled to the Lord in every aspect of our lives-no areas should be hidden. May we also become agents of Christ reconciliation (bringing closer to Christ) in families, churches, communities and country.- 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
Day 4: Wisdom:
We are asking the Lord to fill us with Godly wisdom. We don’t have to figure out things ourselves, we need the wisdom of God during these trying times. Wisdom is the application of Knowledge. We need to ask God to show us how to apply what we have learned and what we are learning. We don’t need the wisdom of man but God in everything-Proverbs 9:10,
James 1:5-6, James 3:17
Day 5: Unity:
We are asking the Lord to pour out the spirit of unity in the face of division in our society. Division is everywhere even in the Church but its important to remember that a house divided against itself can not stand. Unity in diversity cannot be manufactured but it must be birth by the spirit of God. Lets pray for unity in our families, churches, communities and country.- 1 Corinthians 1:10, Colossians 3:13-14, · Ephesians 4:11-13, Psalm 133:1
Day 6: Peace:
We are asking that Christ will bring peace in our communities. That unrest will be removed from our families, communities and country. We need to call on the prince of peace today to make us agents of peace. The world needs to encounter peace-makers.-Colossians 3:15, Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 3:11, Philippians
Day 7: Love:
We are asking that Christ will fill us with the greatest gift of all which is “love”. Without love our gifts and expertise are meaningless. Love has to start with our recognition of how much God loves us and this love will transform us into people that love him(God) and others around us. In the world where there is pain, violence, betrayal , mistrust and many other types of evil we need love to transform us. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Luke 6:35, 1 Corinthians 13:13, 1 Peter 4:8
