Why London?

Many months back my cousin accidentally emailed me about a youth intercession day in London. In the email it was stated that youth of London were dealing with increase  violence, high teenage pregnancy and a complete disregard for God. These things have become major cause of concern for parents, churches, communities and the government. As I reflect on these things, I am reminded of similar rebellion going on during John Wesley's time and how things changed as youth started to stand up for righteousness.  John Wesley was about 17 years old when he started the Holy Club in Oxford University. William Wilberforce was in his early 20’s when he started his campaigns to abolish slavery. Just as the lord brought change to England during Wesley and Wilberforce's time, Christ wants to do the same today. This has really sparked a burden and desire in our team to reach the youth of London. My wife & I have a lot of family in London, so we have a deep connection to the place and the people. God has been impressing on our hearts to see Revival among the youths of London and England at large. 
So, the Lord has  impressed on us to do a youth outreach in  London, in conjunction with local churches and ministries. This outreach (HIP HOPE) has been done in various places in the U.S. over the past 4 years.  It has been effective in reaching youths. We will be bringing an adapted version to London, England. I believe revival is coming to England, through the youth and Hip Hope could serve as part of the catalyst for this revival. In as much as hip hope could serve as a catalyst, the ultimate catalyst is prayer. So, we are fully persuaded that prayer and evangelism must  go hand-in-hand. Just as the Lord visited England during the time of John Wesley and William Wilberforce, God wants to bring transformation to England again through the youth.
